Catalog Jobs failing!

Hi All!

We are using BE 10 (SP1) which I installed last week and am encountering errors when trying to run :

A. Full inventory of Tape Library.

B. Catalog job.

A. The inventory job is reported as having run successfully and all tapes can be viewed in their respective slots but a popup message is displayed saying:
Backup Exec Alert: Catalog Error
ODBC Access Error: Possible lost connection to database or unsuccessful access to catalog index in the database.

B. I keep getting the following errors in the Windows 2003 System Event log:

Event ID 57608
A format inconsistency was encountered while positioning to begin a tape read operation on device 'DELL 2'

Event ID 34113
Backup Exec Alert: Job Failed
The job failed with the following error:
The requested media is not listed in the media index and could not be mounted. To add the media's catalog information to the disk-based catalogs run an inventory operation and on the media and resubmit the Catalog operation.

Re-running the inventory again does not clear the above problem.

These tapes used to be used under BE 9.1 and can be read under BE 9.1

Could someone please help me to solve these strange problems?
