Change of Account for Backup

Kevin_Hendry

Hello all

I run Veritas 9.1 on a Windows 2000 server which backs up around 180 Gb every night. Since I started we have been using the domain adamin account to do the backup. Now I need to chnage this to a backup account. I have changed this within backup exec but all I get is access denied on the backup resourses. (Error: a000848c to be exact).

The backup account has local admin and backup priviliages on all backup resourses, but still no joy. If though I add the backup account to the domain admains group I have no problems. I have also tried to re-install the backup RM agents on all target machines again no joy their.

Any ideas???

Kind Regards,

KEv
