Clean job will not delete - Unknown

I have drive clean job that will not run and cannot be deleted from Job Setup. The Job type has become Unknown so it will not allow me to delete the clean job or remove it from Job Queue. It just sits in the Job status Q as ready but will not allow me to do anthing with the job. How can I delete the job?

The persistence of the job indicates a possible corruption in the SQL database of backup exec. The index that corresponds to this particular job has gone corrupt somehow. So you can repair the database since it is not advised to touch the SQL database.
