Compatibility of Symantec Discovery 6.0 and Veritas BackupExec 9.1

Symantec Discovery 6.0 doesn't seem to be compatable with BackupExec 9.1 on the same server (which doesn't already have MS SQL Server). The MSDE that are installed by those two software (when no SQL Server is detected) don't seem to like each other. On a Windows 2000 test Server, I tried to duplicate my customer's problem: wether Discovery 6.0 or BackupExec 9.1 is install fisrt, the second software will not install because of the previous instance of MSDE. Would any switches allow to install those to software on the same Server?

What is the erro rmessage?

Please note that you can install upto 16 MSDE instances on the Backup exec server.
