Compatibility of Symantec Discovery 6.0 and Veritas BackupExec 9.1

Symantec Discovery 6.0 doesn't seem to be compatable with BackupExec 9.1 on the same server (which doesn't already have MS SQL Server). The MSDE that are installed by those two software (when no SQL Server is detected) don't seem to like each other...
