Configuring backup job to removable disk backup server - Need advice!

I am using a backup server/appliance that allows me to eject IDE drives and store them offsite. I am trying to configure our backup job to backup to the removable disk media and have a backup job that is larger than 1 of the disks. The system I am using has 4 400GB IDE drives that can all be used for backup. How do I configure a 600GB backup job to backup to more than one drive and use removable drives D and E for one large job?

Can you configure the 4 IDE removable drives into a cascading drive pool?

That is exactly what I did and it worked great. I checked with the support at my hardware vendor Idealstor and that is what they recommended as well. The job can now span disks for that larger job.
