Yes the Certance CDL432LWF-SS 6-tape DAT72 autoloader is on the HCL.
I've tried the latest Veritas drivers and drivers from Quantum (Certance) - doesn't seem to make any difference. The #58053 eventlookup links from the error messages returns silly stuff like "is your external drive turned on?" and "check the cable on your IDE drive". The most promising looking error above, #58066, returns "no documents match your search". That's not real helpful. And to make it even more fun - the problem is intermittant. Last night's backup worked perfectly. Everything exactly the same except which tapes were in the changer. And no, it's not the tapes, since they worked perfectly last Wednesday. It failed last Monday with the exact same errors, but worked this Monday. AARRRGGGHHH! If I could at least find a pattern I'd have somewhere to start.
