DAT72 usb backup issue

Hi

I have a server with a DAT72 usb drive plugged into it.  During the nightly backup the job gets to about
16GB out of about 25GB and the drive goes offline.  This happens during every backup.

I reinstalled backupexec and the backup worked for 2 nights then started displaying the same symptom.

I have tried a new tape drive, different usb ports, made sure i have the latest drivers but still not playing ball.

Any ideas?

Please verify that your drive is in the HCL.

Symantec Backup Exec for Windows Servers (tm) 11d (11.0.6235 and 11.0.7170) Hardware Compatibility List. Includes HCL information for supported drives, libraries, virtual tape devices, fibre-channel HBAs, switches, routers/bridges, VSS, NDMP and iSCSI components. For printing purposes, the latest version of Acrobat is recommended.

Also, make sure that they are up to the latest drivers.
