DELL 100T TAPE DRIVE is OFFLINE...

I am trying to attached a DELL PowerVault 100T to a Windows 2003 Server with Veritas Backup Exce 10.0.

Under the Device Configuration Wizard there is no detected Hardware, but the drive does show properly under DEVICE MANAGER as
"SEAGATE DAT DAT72-052 Scsi Sequential Device"

Then when I click on Configure Devices it shows:
Finding tape devices
Finding plug and play tape device names
Hardware ID = SCSI\SequentialSEAGATE_DAT____DAT72-052A060
Finding IDE plug and play device instances
Finding SCSI plug and play device instances
Finding VERITAS device drivers
Hardware scan complete.

Then on the Veritas Devices Drive Installer Screen I get:
Updating VERITAS inf file
VERITAS device drivers are already installed
Tape0 04mmdat.sys SCSI\SequentialSEAGATE_DAT____DAT72-052A060
Installation complete.

However, under REMOVEABLE STORAGE\Libraries the drive shows as "SEAGATE DAT DAT72-052 Scsi Sequential Device" with a RED Circle with a WHITE X thru it.

Then when I select it, and right click to show Properties, there is a check next to ENABLE DRIVE. If I attempt to uncheck this, I get, "The operation cannot be performed on an offline library"

What do I have to do to get thius device ONLINE?

1) Please check if your device configuration is compatible with Veritas BEWS. Our Hardware Compatibility List:
http://support.veritas.com/menu_ddProduct_BEWNT_view_CL.htm

If your configuration doesn't match with our HCL then install the device drivers of the H/w provider otherwise install the latest Veritas drivers.support.veritas.com/menu_ddProduct_BEWNT_view_DOWNLOAD.htm

http://seer.support.veritas.com/docs/255501.htm will also be helpful
