Hi,
i have just installed Backup Exec for Windows servers 12. I have configured The Desktop adn laptop options on the server and followed the instructions on installing the DLO agent. The agent installs without errors, but I am unable to run the application. My computer (where the agent is installed) is running Windows Vista Business with Microsoft Forefront Client security.
Help would be greatly appreciated.

Everytime I start my computer, the error "DLO Desktop Agent has stopped working". The same thing happens when I manually try to start the application. I have uninstalled the application and reinstalled it numerous times, but it doesn't help. I even tried to push install it from the server, but still the same problem.
Does anybody have any ideas?
The application was designed for Windows Vista, was it not?

Ok, so apparently no one ever uses these forums, or I am the only one that receives this error message.
I am having trouble with Windows XP as well.
Does anybody have any ideas?
Can anybody give me some pointers as to where to start troubleshooting?
I have uninstalled and reinstalled the media server, ran Liveupdate, uninstalled and reinstalled the desktop agent. Nothing.
