DLO IS SOOOOO SLOW ... Why?

I set up DLO in BE 2010.

I have been trying to backup about 20 gigs of files over the network (averaging about 400 MBPS connection with this server) and it literally is taking forever.  It has done about 20% of the job in about 5 hours.

I have encryption turned on, but not compression.

Why is this taking so long?  Is this the normal speed of the DLO?

Cancel ... I figured it out!

I was sending it to an external drive, and that is what was taking forever.
