DLO Update Intervals

Hi,

Can anybody tell me when DLO agents will receive amendments to their profile?

For example, if the backup selection list is changed, will the agent receive the change the next time it starts, or does it periodically 'report in' to the media server?

Any help on how this mechanism works will be appreciated!

Hi richard,

Changes to the profile get pushed to the users Network Data Folder.  When the client is working online it scans that folder for changes very often, like every 15 seconds.  So when you make a change to the profile it will happen almost immediately .  The only exception will be if the user is running a backup , it will not get updated until the backup finishes or is cancelled.
