DLOClientu keeps crashing

Hi,
I have the following problem: when the user logs on a notebook with DLO option installed, after some time the DLOClientu crashes saying something general like "Instruction at 0x004fc081 was referencing memory at address 0x00000008. Memory cannot be read."
The OS used is Windows 2000 Professional SP4 CZ, DLO option is 10d, SP3.
I even deinstalled DLO option and installed it again, but no success.
So I spent some time by checking the machine and I found the following:
1) when I log on the same machine as Administrator, no problem - DLOClient does load and work.
2) when I take the account of that user and add it to the Local Admins group, then DLOClient is also OK
3) however, for security our users are not members of the Local Admins group. So point 2 is just to show it has something with NTFS permissions / registry key permissions.
4) unfortunately, the log file of DLOClient which I found does not say clearly which permissions are needed: it says just something as simple as "ACCESS_VIOLATION" and that is all.
5) DLOClient was working on the same machine (with the same user) till July 30. The only change I did on that date was adding port replicator and external LCD. That means I created 2 hardware profiles in the OS. No software changes. Using Process Monitor from Sysinternals I discovered DLOClientu is working with the registry keys related to hardware profiles. However, adding rights in regedt32 did not help.
Does anyone have some idea? Does anyone know which files / registry keys I should check?

Hi again,
so now I have the same case again and this time I can describe it more exactly:
1) I have another Latitude D630 with fresh installation of OS (Win 2K Prof SP4 CZ), all applications and Backup Exec DLO.
2) till today morning only administrator was working with the machine, DLO OK.
3) then I logged in as another user (who is not administrator), DLO did work OK!
4) however later on I realized I should modify the Power Options. Unfortunately this setting is part of the user settings and only administrators can change that.
5) so I logged in as administrator, assigned that user to Administrators group
6) I logged in as the user again, changed the Power Options. Then I removed the user from the Administrators group.
7) then I rebooted the machine.
AFTER THAT I LOGGED IN AS THAT USER AGAIN, DLO STARTED CRASHING WITH ABSOLUTELY THE SAME ERROR!!!
This time I also used SGMon for monitoring what is happening. The log is here:

so now I have the same case again and this time I can describe it more exactly:
1) I have another Latitude D630 with fresh installation of OS (Win 2K Prof SP4 CZ), all applications and Backup Exec DLO.
2) till today morning only administrator was working with the machine, DLO OK.
3) then I logged in as another user (who is not administrator), DLO did work OK!
4) however later on I realized I should modify the Power Options. Unfortunately this setting is part of the user settings and only administrators can change that.
5) so I logged in as administrator, assigned that user to Administrators group
6) I logged in as the user again, changed the Power Options. Then I removed the user from the Administrators group.
7) then I rebooted the machine.
AFTER THAT I LOGGED IN AS THAT USER AGAIN, DLO STARTED CRASHING WITH ABSOLUTELY THE SAME ERROR!!!
This time I also used SGMon for monitoring what is happening. The log is here:
