I have a small network, two servers, one is my Exchange 2003 server and the other is my Active Directoy domain controller. My backups had been running fine up until a week ago when after I deleted some email accounts. Now, no matter what I do I get the following error. Backup - \\IDHQEX\Microsoft Exchange Mailboxes Database or database element is corrupt.
I have removed the deleted email accounts from the backup and have purged them as well.
I have checked the settings and nothing has changed in over a year. I even unselected shadow copy components and the information store from the backups leaving only data and mailboxes being backed up yet I still get this error.
