Differential Backup Issue - Running as full backup

Hello Everyone,

We are having a problem with our Differential backup. The job is scheduled to run every day at 11:00pm (Monday - Thursday) to backup two different drives.

Schedule:
Monday, tuesday, wednesday and thursday set to differential incremental backup.

For one of the drives the differential backup is doing fine but for the other one is taking 16 hours and the size of the backup is 2 TB. This drive has 12 TB of capacity, so something strange is happening.

Could you help me to sort this out?

If this volume is on a device that does not have the BE remote agent loaded, then what you are experiencing is to be expected.  You can only do differential/incremental backups when the device has the BE remote agent loaded.

Hello pkh, thanks for your reply! Do you mean BE Agent Utility? Because we have this loaded. As I said one of the physical drives is being successfully backuped, just the other one it's taking a long time. Look the images attached. Thank you again! Regards.

Just to update the case, take a look please at 'Job History'. The last Successful Differential of R: drive backup was 113GB and the first one of the week has 1,711 GB.

The jobs from S drive was Successful, we just had a problem in 10/10/2010 that was 'Cancelled' but after this all of them have executed fine.
