Differential Cleanup

I set a differential backup to Overwrite Protection Period set to 7 days.

Once a week I run a full backup and after that backup runs, I want to delete the differentials from the previous week. Is there a way to automate that?

Thanks,
Jon

Hello,
Unfortunatly you cannot automate to delete the previous differentials.
However what you can do is set the Overwirte Protection and the append Period such that the new backup overwrites the new one inturn deleting the new entry.

OK -

But that means that after a full backup - I have those differentials that are worthless and take up disk space.
