Directory Not Found

Ray_Rogers
Not applicable
Until several weeks ago, I have been able to move or delete files without a hitch. Now, I am getting the following error after deleting one directory and a file in another directory.

Backup - M: Directory not found. Can not backup directory \DiskImages and its subdirectories.
Directory not found. Can not backup directory \SMEDIA\\ASP\Woodson\3-ENU.exe and its subdirectories.

Interestingly enough, it seems to occur on only this one drive which is backed up weekly and which is static for the most part.

Any clues?

Hello,

We presume you are backing up the virtual directory M. Please note that M: being a virtual drive and should not be backed up.

If this is not the case, please refer the following technote.
Title:
A backup operation fails with the error message: "Directory not found. Can not back up directory <\directory> and its subdirectories" or "The directory is invalid."
