I'm having trouble finding the procedure on how to restore a Win2003 DC to a server with different hardware. I am doing this as part of a disaster recovery plan so I need to restore the AD also. I have tried a full backup on the original DC and just restore int to a different computer (Different Network also) but I am getting a SRMHOST.EXE error on the computer that I am trying to restore.
