Does Act require the SQL Agent

I have an ACT for Workgroups 2006 database that isn't backing up each night. I figure I need to get the SQL Agent to successfully backup the ACT database, right?

This is for a BackupExec 10d install w/ the Exchange agent and IDR agent.

Does it uses the msde instance?

Hello,

There should be a Service running under its name (MSSQL&BKUPEXEC service in Backupexec.). Or a Folder with the database.

But the best way we would suggets if you could get in touch with their Support. They will be in a best Position to help you.
