Does BackupExec 10d support MSL 2024 tape library

Hello,
I'd like to know if BackupExec 10d supports MSL 2024.tape library. The problem is that this library is recognized by BackupExec as a stand-alone drive, not as a robotic library. Library device is sucessfully recognized by OS.

Yes, MSL2024 is supported by BE 10d.
I am using this setup my self, and also had your problem initially. But you have to upgrade the Library with latest firmware from HP, and download the latest tape-drivers to BE.

Please check,whether the device that you are using is there in our Hardware Compatibility List.

Kindly refer the following document for the same:

Symantec Backup Exec for Windows Servers (tm) 10d (10.1) Hardware Compatibility List. Includes HCL information for supported drives, libraries, virtual tape devices, fibre-channel HBAs, switches, routers/bridges, and iSCSI components. For printing purposes, the latest version of Acrobat is recommended.
