Does Service Pack 2 for BUE 11d Need to be installed on Servers only Running the Agent?

We have a number of remote servers running the Exchange agent, etc.  When we install SP2 for Backup Exec 11d on the Central Administration Server, do we also need to install SP2 on those remote machines where only the agent resides?

If you install SP2 on a CAS, you need to also install it on any MMS in your environment. You will then need to re-push the Remote Agent to any servers being backed up in this environment.

I just want to be certain that I understand this correctly.  If a remote server is running an agent of any type, does that automatically imply that the server is an MMS, or can it merely just be running the remote agent?

I hope that question made sense.
