Downgrading Backup Exec 2010 to 12.5

I downgraded Backup Exec 2010 to 12.5 because we were having trouble backing up or Lotus Domino databases. I copied the Data and Catalog folders back over to their proper directory. I went into the BE Utility and made the change there too. Some Backup Exec services are failing to start. Is there a registry setting that needs changed since the database is probably still 2010?

Do you have DATA & CATALOGS folder from the previous installation of BE12.5 ?

No I do not.

Unfortunately you will not be able to backtrack  from BE2010 to BE12.5. If in case you are able to find the DATA & CATALOGS

folder from the previous installation then you just have to perform installation of BE12.5 and replace the existing folders

with the old one's.

You should try to resolve your Domino backup problem before you attempt to backtrack to BE 12.5

Whenever you upgrade from a previous version of BE it backs up the database inside the databackup folder. It is present in the Installation path of BE. You can use those database files since they will be from the previous version and the services should start fine for 12.5.
