Hi All be great if i could get some help here from everyone.
I am currently using backupexec 11d running on w2k3 standard server SP2 on an IBM X3650 along with:
1) tape library Tandberg data storageloader 2U LTO.
2) Overland Stroage Reo 1500
The tape library is connected to the ibm server via adaptec ultra 320 LVD/SE 29320LPE.
REO to ibm server via iscsi.
The backup performs no problem with the Reo 1500 as backuping to virtual tape drives.
But with the tandberg library everytime i backup i keep getting the error: E00084d - A Hardware Error occured
Looking into even viewer it gives me event id 33152 (Adamm Mover Error: write failure).
I am using symantecs drivers for the tape library. I have also change media tapes. I have downloaded via live update all the latest patches etc. 11.0 Rev 6235 installed updates: SP2, hot fix 29,30,31,32,33.
The library is fully compatible with symantec, i have checked with the HCL compatibility list.
Does anyone have any ideas please?????
