ERROR: trying to connect to remote agent - NDMP subsystem error

raymond_wong
Level 2
i have just installed windows NT remote agent on a remote computer windows 2000 server, when trying to connect from the media server (windows 2000server) to the remote agent, i get this error: I don't seem to be able to find a solution to this. i have deinstall the remote agent, than installed it manually on the remote machine and the same error occurs.

"
an error was encountered while attempting to browse the contents of \\10.10.0.2 an unknown error occurred within the ndmp subsystem "

Thanx for any help!

ok, i have placed the backupexec remote agent and job engine on debug mode. it complains that there is authentication error. the user id and password is correct. i have looked around and see no answers to this problem. if someone point me to the right direction, that would be great.
