Error 0008516 Job Failed - No Valid Data

Testing out 11d and I get this error in the Alert Log:

e0008516 - Resources specified for snapshot do not have any valid data on them. Check if files were deleted or renamed.
For additional information regarding this error refer to link V-79-57344-34070

The link doc refers to 10d and mentions it happens when backing up Exchange 2000 but that this error will not happen with Exchange 2003.

My system is SBS 2003 SP1 Standard. I have BE set to backup all local hard drives as well as to backup the System State, Information Store, SQL Backup Exec, SQL Server SBS Monitoring and Shadow Copy Components.

I would appreciate suggestions as to where I have gone wrong in my backup settings.

Thanks

Bill Rodgers

Hi,

-- Please check if Advance Open File option is activated for the same backup

-- create 2 seperate selection list
1. Exchange and Sql databases without AOFO
2.local Harddisk drive with AOFO

Check the performance !

Please paste the exact error here.

-- Workaround:

To avoid this error, create a separate backup job for the Exchange Information Store that does not use AOFO.

Update us on the same and revert for any further Query

Thank you
