Error 0xa000fe30 when restoring exchange mailbox

I am running Windows Server 2003 and Exchange 2003.

When trying to restore a mailbox from exchange to another mailbox I get the following error:

Job ended: Wednesday, May 17, 2006 at 1:38:43 PM
Completed status: Failed
Final error: 0xa000fe30 - A communications failure has occurred.

Final error category: Server Errors

Restore - \\CA-MAIL\Microsoft Exchange Mailboxes Connection to the restore target has been lost. Operation canceled.

1. make sure the restore directory is valid on both the exchange box and the backup box.

2. make sure the share is present.

3. make sure the directory is empty that it is restoring to.

should the agent that is running on the exchange box be running under local system or my domain backup account? all the other backup services are running as the domain account but the remote agent is running as local system.

Hello,

Make sure that the remote agent service is running under local system account on the media as well as the remote server.

From the link www.sysinternals.com download Tcp view and check that port 10,000 is open
