What is the status of the other BE service ? Also check if the SQL server BKUPEXEC service started.

Hi,
This can sometimes happen if the service process isn't stopped properly. Check to see if the process is running within Task Manager, and if so, kill it off. Try starting the service up again.
Thanks!
EDIT: Sorry orags, I checked those services out, and the following services must be started up with a domain account: Backup Exec Agent Browser, Backup Exec Device and Media Service; Backup Exec Job Engine (Yours appears to be a local account); Backup Exec Management Service; Backup Exec Server
You can redo this using BEutility and choose the option to change your service account credentials...simply put in the same credentials you use for the BESA and it will change it accordingly. It's quite possible that the Job Engine starting up under the wrong credentials is causing the issue.
