Final error: 0xe0000340 - The Database script returned an error.

Hi,

i have already configured a daily online backup from our ORACLE database and it was working fine, few days ago i have noticed that the Daily backup jobs was failing and returning the following error message:

Completed status: Failed
Final error: 0xe0000340 - The Database script returned an error. Refer to the Database script output section in job logs for more details.
Final error category: Resource Errors

when i check the RMAN scrip i can see the following error at the end of the script:

RMAN-00571: ===========================================================
RMAN-00569: =============== ERROR MESSAGE STACK FOLLOWS ===============
RMAN-00571: ===========================================================
ORA-12560: TNS:protocol adapter error

Please advise.

NO this is not the problem in my case, as all services are up and DB group in the cluster is online and on the same node which am traying to take the backup from it.

The problem solved,

the cluster group Quorum Disk (Disk Q) was on the other node

from the node i was traying to take backup from it.

cluster group Quorum Disk (Disk Q) was on Node1

while i was taking backup fron Node2
