I get this error in my job log -
Final error: 0x98 - DosMuxSemWait did not execute; too many semaphores are already set.
Final error category: Other Errors

Is there anyone who knows what it means and what I can do about it?

Could you give us more Information on that.

- Which is the OS on which you have this Problem.

- Does this error occur on specific Server backups or at a specific time?

- What exactly are you backing up?

- Could you also check if there are any events logged in in the event logs?

- Is this is a local or a Remote Backup?
