Error: Unable to attach to this resource

One of our servers (that used to backup with no problems) has now started to produce the following error in the job log (and causes the backup to be marked as 'Failed')

Backup- SLXDGB-DEVAOFO: Initialization failure on: "SLXDGB-DEV". Advanced Open File Option used: No.
Unable to attach to this resource. Make sure that this resource exists, and then try again.

The odd thing is that the server is backed up with no problems:

AOFO: Started for resource: "\\SLXDGB-DEV\C:". Advanced Open File Option used: Symantec Volume Snapshot Provider (VSP).
AOFO: Symantec Volume Snapshot Provider (VSP) snapshot cache file settings for volume "C:" : Initial: 0 MB. Maximum: 1946 MB. File: "\\?\Volume{f4a02ab6-ed8a-11db-a00d-806e6f6e6963}\Backup Exec AOFO Store\_BEVspCacheFile_3.VSP".
etc.

If the media server can connect to the drives of the server in question, why am I getting this error?
I've double checked the username and password used to log on, it's correct.

Media server is running 10d on Win2k3 (SP2), and the server to be backed up is running RAWS64 10.1.5629.34 on Win2k3 64 bit (SP2)

So does nobody have any idea why BE will backup this server whilst giving an error that it is "Unable to attach to this resource."?
Anyone?
