Hello,

This could be because in the selection list you use for the backup job contains the selections of files there were once present and then got deleted later. So when you use the same selection list for backup, Backup Exec tries to access the selection list but fails to access as they are no more present on the system.

Please either modify the selection list in the Job properties in 'Text mode' or create a new selection list for Backup.

Please write to us if the issue persists and also intimate us if you get further error messages.

It appears that this file is associated with Backup Exec. What exactly is the "Remote Agent for Windows Servers.msi" file? Is it a Windows installer file that was probably left over from something and is likely no longer necessary?

Hello,

The file remote agent for windows server.msi file is the installable file to install remote agent found in installable directory of Be found on CD, or if you copied it on the hard disk.

path: Winnt\install\Rant32 or rant64

To resolve the issue either you can create a new selection list or delete it from existing selection list with the help of the technote below:

Please update us the result
