I have several servers in the filed that are running V10.0, Rev 5484. They send tapes from one office to another for off-site storage. Before they go to storage they restore some test files to assure tape is good. I'm seeing for and more times where after tapes are inventoried, cateloged, and tried to restore, we are seeing the above error message.
This is really starting to be a problem. I've tried support docs 279681 and 281822. All servers have SP5 loaded and still same results. I read that upgrading has fixed this issue, but that is not an option, at this time. We plan to go to 11D. But, I need help now on a specific job to get some files restored for a user.
If someone from Backup Exec can provide a solution, I would appreciate it. And fast.
