I have been running Veritas and now symantec for a number of years.
I have recently (few months ago) upgraded to version 10d. I am now having trouble with directories which are deleted. In older version when this happened I just went to the backup job and deselected any directory and resubmitted the job. If I then went straight back to the job and reselected the directory (nether necessarily the ones that had been deleted, just any random directory) the job did not look for the deleted directories.
This does not work in version 10d. I have looked through the the help and it seems the only way to remove the reference to the deleted directories is to remove them from the text view of the backup job.
This is a real problem as due the the type of directory structure this can result in having to remove many entries. It is time consuming as after each time a line is deletd the selection jumps back to the top of the list an real pain.
Is there any other way of getting around this problem
