Exabyte VXA-1 1394 Tape Drive

Hi,

I have a client who's been using an Exabyte VXA-1 1394 Tape Drive (firewire) on an Apple server. They've just switched to a Windows 2003-based server and want to use the Exabyte for tape backup. The new server has a firewire card, and device manager sees and identifies the drive correctly, but BEWS 10 doesn't see the drive.I tried the device-configuration wizard with no joy, and I downloaded and installed the latest version of the Tape Device Driver file, also with no joy. Is there a way to use BEWS 10 with this drive?

At the moment BE 10 does not support tape drives attached via firewire.
