BE is working but i need to delegate right to people that are not domain admin to manage backup ... make a backup or restore ...

It is possible ? to have a user not domain admin to manage backup ? for the moment for a non domain admin user when he try to connect he have cannot connect to media server ...

ps : there is BE on DC too ... so i cannot use local admin.

Thanks a lot for your help

If you deploy ExecView, you can give users the ability to monitor jobs only, or to respond to alerts and release prviously created jobs. See the documentation for how to set up the rights.

Using ExecView you cannot create new jobs, schedules media sets etc.

To create a restore job, the users will need admin rights.

Hi,

Please refer http://support.veritas.com/docs/243033.
Backup Exec service account must have administrator rights rights in order to back up and restore.
