Exchange 2000 Information DB restore

I am attempting to restore our database from tape to Exchange 2000 Enterprise edition (no SP).

When I attempt the restore I am getting "Data Source could not be located". In the application log I am getting and error saying that the restore job got an access denied from Exchange even though I was using the administrator account. Any suggestions?
This is a brand new install

And what exactly you are trying to restore ??

My apologies, but the correct error as it appears is:

Final Error: 0x000848c - Unable to attach to one of the drives.
Final error category: Resource errors.

Please refer the following technotes. These troubleshooting steps can be verified for restores as well.
