Exchange 2003 Restore

Restoring Exchange 2003 to a test environment. I can restore the full backup from tape without any problems. When trying to restore the differential backup from tape, I am getting the following error message:

The job failed with the following error: A communications failure has occured.

I get this additional message in my event logs:

Description:
beremote (1600) Unexpected file system error 2 encountered while opening the restore environment file.


I'm not sure if the store needs to be mounted or dismounted, I tried both ways. I also tried with the Recovery Storage Group, same thing occurs.

Any help on this would be appreciated.

Hello,

1)Check for the Default Admin Shares if shared with different Share name and if so, change the share names back to the default share names.

2)Rerun the restore job .
