Getting this error on an Exchange 2010 Server using BUEX 2010 R3 all updates. All other dedup jobs run fine.
Final error: 0xe00002f7 - Cannot extract mailbox messages from the Exchange backup. Review the job log for more information.

The day before I ran it I got this error:
Unable to complete the operation for the selected resource using the specified options. The following error was returned when opening the Exchange Database file: '-1022 There is a disk IO error.
I read these two Symantec articles below that suggest editing the registry to increase timeout setting, but that didnt help. The articles also only mention this error on incremental backups using the DAG in Exchange, which I'm nor using as I'm doing a full backup and no DAGs.
