I am having an issue with Backup Exec 2012 SP 3 not setting the backup flag on Exchange 2013 databases. This creates a recurring set of log files that fills up the hard drive. Any Ideas?

Hello Tomm Olson,
Makes sure you have the license for Agent for Applications and Databases installed on the Media server and the agent has been pushed out to the Exchange Server.
In addition make sure the Media Server is up to date with Live Updates also the remote agent on the Exchange Server.is updated to the same version.
hope this helps

Hi Tomm,
Are you using Advanced Open File Option in the backup job? If you are, turn it off and then try running the backup again.
AOFO isn't recommended for use with backups of databases. If you do need to use AOFO then consider splitting your backups off...data/System State etc with AOFO; Exchange without.
Thanks!
