Exchange 5.5 Compatability

We want to run BE 12.5 on a Win 2000 server, but it also needs to backup an NT server running Exchange 5.5 until we move over to a new mail system.  Will it backup the NT Server?  Will it backup the Exchange, and what type of Exchange backup is possible, offline and online.

I have looked around for this information but can't find it.  Can anyone tell me or point me in the right direction?

v10.x was compatible with Ex 5.5   Neither v11 nor v12 are.

NT4 support stopped with v9.x  v10 did not officially support it but there was a "best effort" v10 remote Agent for v10   v11 and v12 are not compatible at all
