Exchange 5.5 Mailbox Restore

I've restored the information store for our decomissioned exchange server onto a test box, had to run ininteg and eseutil etc because the services wouldn't run, then had to install service pack 4 over the top.

If I look in "Mailbox resources" in Exchange5.5 - I can see all the mailboxes. I'm presuming I still need to restore the mailbox from tape, as there is nothing in the recipients container? Or is there a way of accessing the mailbox from where I am now?

I tried restoring the mailbox - when testing credentials - it's ok getting to the server itself, but when trying to connect to "\\MyServer\Microsoft Exchange Mailboxes" - no credentials work at all - even though I built the entire test domain from scratch using ONE other account apart from administrator!!

Arrgh help! What credentials is this asking for?
