Exchange Agent Issues!!!!

we've got a windows 2000 member server in our NT 4 domain running our ultrium drive, this has the exchange agent installed, we're trying to backup our Exchange 5.5 mailboxes which reside on our NT4 server.

when i browse to select the exchange mailboxes i can see them listed on the exchange server, but when i tried to connect i get an access denied error, i am using the same account "exservice" which is used to run the exchnage services, i've also confirmed this account is shown in the address book.

i'm beginning to wonder whether or not 9.1 exchange agent works with nt4?

any help or advice would be greatly appreciated

Hi there,

Veritas Agent for Microsoft Exchange Server can backup Exchange 5.5 mailboxes residing on Iwndows NT Server.

The Access Denied message may appears when the logon account does not have sufficient permission to backup the mailboxes, review the following document:

Ensure that the account used to connect to the Exchange mailboxes has Domain Admin rights as well.
