Exchange Granular Restore

stevew9499

Hello I am using Backup Exec 2010 R3 and attempting a granular restore of Exchange 2007.  During the restore I get the error referenced in this article here: http://www.symantec.com/business/support/index?page=content&id=TECH171504

I have tried the "workaround" by creating a recovery database and redirecting the restore job but I am still getting: Final error: 0xe0008105 - Invalid Physical Volume Library Media Identifier.

Any help would be appreciated!

Hi,

Have you tried staging to disk manually first, and THEN trying the restore? Read the article below if you don't know how too...

Thanks!
