We are using Backup Exec version 10.0 Rev 5484 and we are backing up an Exchange 2000 cluster.
The jobs that pertain to this cluster work fine if everything is owned by a specific node but as soon as we are forced to transfer the cluster all of the exchange jobs quit working. On a mailbox backup I get a
Access to the device is not authorized with this edition of Backup Exec. Final error category: Security Errors and when trying to backup the exchange logs I get a
Final error: 0xe000848c - Unable to attach to a resource. Make sure that all selected resources exist and are online, and then try again. Final error category: Resource Errors
The only way I can get these jobs to backup on the secondary node is to actually power off the primary node. Does anybody have any suggestions on how to correct this problem?
