Backup Exec V9.1 Rev 4691

The exchange server freezes at the same time every night, when the backup kicks in. It becomes unresponsive and requires a forced shutdown and then re-start. Disconnecting the backup server from the network stops the problem, but obviously this is not a solution. There must be some communication between the backup server and the exchange box that is causing issues. Can anyone help?
