Exchange or SQL agent include Remote agent for Windows?

I will install BE on server A and i need to backup Windows 2000 OS, all the volumes, SQL and Exchange on server B.

I will buy 1 SQL agent and 1 Exchange agent for the server B. Do i need to buy 1 Remote Agent for Windows Server or this license is include with the agents (sql or Exchange) or with BE?

The SQL and Exchange agents include an NT remote agent, but to backup those servers you will most likley need the RA.

So no you dont need to buy additional RA's to backup the SQL and Exchange servers if you purchase the SQL / Exchange agents.

To summarize,

Exchange and SQL Agent for Backup Exec includes the client access license (CAL), hence additional remote agent license is not required to protect the remote Exchnage server. You need to install the remote agent software component on that server.
