"Access to the device \\MyExchangeServer is not authorized with this edition of the product."

Two weeks ago, we migrated our Exchange Server from our old domain to our new one. Backups have been failing with the above error since then. This does not seem to be impacting the backup as the log shows all the data being backed-up.

I followed the link in the log to the technote V-79-57344-37912 but this does not apply as it refers to \SERVER1\BKUPEXEC and there is no \MyExchangeServer\BKUPEXEC in my selection list.

Hello,

Recreate the selection list and verify the results.

I created a new selection list with just the Exchange server on it and made a separate backup job and it worked last night.
