Hello:

During a failed SQL 2000 database restore in a Windows 2000 Advanced Server, the following message showed up in a log

Failure, Virtual Device:0. Code:3

Any idea what went wrong? And how to resolve it?

Is this a disaster recovery or a normal restore of SQL 2000 database

What is the exact error code in restore job log ?
