Feature Requests

Hi,

I could not find any location to make feature requests for Backup Exec 2015. 

1.  Abiity to run scripts or reports upon completion of a duplicate job.  We would report generated and emailed (Media to be moved to the vault) automatically after completion of a duplicate job so our backup operators can receive a single notification via email when the job associated with this media has finished duplicating the current method is two part 1.  A scheduled report of media to be moved and 2. Email notificatoin when the duplicate job has completed.

2.  Ability to edit jobs while they are running.  Our jobs run for a long time with the associated duplicate job and there is a small window to edit the jobs if you need to make changes.  It would simply only apply the changes made at next run.

Unfortunately Veritas developers and/or Product Management do not seem to look at Connect Ideas section anymore.

Best is to get hold of Backup Exec Product Management via your local Veritas office.
