Final Error 0xA0008212 - Library Error - invalid element address

Hello,

I am looking for some help on why I am getting this error. I am using Backup Exec 9.1 on Windows 2000 Advanced Server with Service Pak 4.

I have recently moved two Overland LXB Tape libraries to an computer that has an existing Dell Power Vault 122T tape library. Both Overland Libraries were working sucessfully on other computers (running BE9.0 and NT4.0)

The existing Dell PowerVault and the first Overland Library appear to be working fine, but when I try to inventory or label media in the 2nd Overland Library, I get the invalid element address error after about 10 seconds.

Both Overland Libraries are configured the same (Library at SCSID0, Tape at SCSID4, no cleaning slot configured, and Library mode = Random), and have the same firmware revision. Each Library has it's own dedicated SCSI channel, with the SCSI Card having SCSIID7 on each channel.

If it helps, my Adamm.log shows :

Is this possibly a license issue? I do only have one 1 Library Expansion Option License, but the salesperson I spoke with said it was an "unlimited" type :
BEWS & BENW Library Expansion Option (unlimited)
S/N : 07-4708-xxxx-xxxxxx

Thanks for any help in advance.

I have managed to solve the problem.

I read document 255501 yesterday, and went through the steps upto the point of checking the SCSIChanger and virtual device driver in WINMSD. I really didn't expect any of the further steps to make much of a difference.

Today, I tried Disabling and deleting the Library and Drive, stopping the BE services and restarting them, and it worked.

I hate it when this happens to me...
Thanks for the help.
